We are honored to recognize the Omaha EITC Coalition as our Community Partner of the Month! The EITC Coalition, a program of Family Housing Advisory Services, is dedicated to reducing poverty by through increased financial literacy. Their volunteers have assisted many College Possible students in filing their taxes so they can apply for financial aid.

About

College Possible Omaha is proud to serve more than 650 high school students in the Omaha area at nine partner high schools in 5 different districts for the 2015-16 academic year. Over 400 college students from the Omaha site are enrolled at over 30 colleges and universities regionally and across the country. The average high school GPA of students in the program is 3.1 (on a weighted scale). 85 percent of our students will be the first in their family to attend college.

College Possible Omaha was founded during the 2011-12 school year. Twenty-eight AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA members currently serve through the site.
