Laura is an attorney in the Milwaukee office of Husch Blackwell LLP where she is a member of the labor & employment team. She assists employers with a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including discipline and discharge issues, workplace policies and handbooks, discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, occupational health and safety regulation, restrictive covenant agreements, grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and labor law compliance. Laura has experience representing employers in both state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies.
Prior to joining Husch Blackwell LLP, Laura graduated from Marquette University Law School during which she worked as a judicial intern for the current Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and as a law clerk for the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee.
Before attending law school, Laura served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member and leader with Tennessee Campus Compact where she developed community service and service learning infrastructure in higher education institutions statewide. Laura is actively involved in the Milwaukee community, serving on the Board of Directors for Inhabit, Inc. Laura was also a member of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee’s Project LEAD Class of 2016.
