Circle of Impact Raises over $150,000 for College Possible Minnesota Students

On Tuesday, October 29, College Possible Minnesota and presenting sponsor CircleRock hosted our second annual Circle of Impact event. More than 200 people gathered at the Machine Shop in Northeast Minneapolis for an evening of music, food and generosity. The night kicked off with a program, which included introductions and stories by College Possible President Craig Robinson and College Possible Program Alumna and Minnesota Board Member, Zer Vang. During the fund-a-need portion of the event, guests generously gave $93,400 to support College Possible students. Combined with ticket sales, sponsorships and a $25,000 matching gift provided by the Smikis Foundation, we raised more than $150,000 to support College Possible students! We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by donors and their excitement to support students as they pursue their college degrees. The evening ended with a stunning performance by Lazarus and The Steeles: The New American Songbook.

Thank you to our event sponsors CircleRock, Horizontal Integration, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Travelers, Cadan Technologies, TREAT & Co. and Novel Energy Solutions. We are also thankful for our in-kind sponsors R.F. Moeller Jewelers, Garage Grown Gear, Ida Graves Distillery, Surly Gives a Damn, Saint Paul Brewing, and Allegra Downtown Saint Paul/Image360.
