College Possible Twin Cities

College Possible Twin Cities is proud to serve 8,600 low-income students in the Twin Cities metro area of Minnesota. College Possible serves 1,600 students in the Twin Cities at 19 partner high schools through our core high school program. Our students have an average GPA of 3.0, and 91 percent are students of color. Our students report an average annual family income of less than $25,000.

College Possible Twin Cities also serves 3,500 students through our college program as they work to complete their degrees. We provide an additional 3,500 high school freshmen and sophomores college planning workshops to help them get on the right track for college.

College Possible began in Minnesota, the home state of founder Jim McCorkell. In its first year, four part-time coaches served 35 juniors at two high schools in Minneapolis. Through the generous support of local organizations, foundations and individuals, the program has expanded throughout the metro area.
