Getting Great Results for Low-Income Students in the Twin Cities

College Possible has built a strong reputation in Minnesota for making college admission and success possible for low-income students.

In the 2010-11 program year, College Possible Twin Cities served 1,400 students through its core high school programming.

Of the 676 graduating Twin Cities seniors, 98 percent earned admission to college. Historically, College Possible students who are admitted to college have a 93 percent enrollment rate. College Possible students are attaining degrees at the same rate as peers from all income levels in Minnesota. Learn more about graduation rates in the state here.

The average ACT score of our juniors moved from 15.0 to 18.5 - more than a 23 percent increase! By comparison, leading for-profit companies advertise average increases of 12-14 percent.

College Possible Twin Cities also served 3,000 freshmen and sophomores through its college planning workshops.
