Josue provides advising and oversight for the Catalyze program’s current institutional partners and maintains program fidelity across campuses. Being the first in his family to attend college, he recognized early on the importance of providing access and support to students on college campuses. Josue served as the Coordinator of Diversity Recruitment at his alma mater where he collaborated with equity and access programs. He also served as the liaison to community outreach partners to provide support for underrepresented students pursuing higher education. Josue was an active member of the Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC), where he helped expose students to the opportunity of continuing education. Josue’s background provides context for the barriers underrepresented students face, and his passion fuels his effort to shape Catalyze into a program that will make a lasting impact for those students.
Josue holds a B.A. in Music and Management from Luther College
