Beth joined College Possible in August 2015 as Senior Director of External Relations, overseeing the organization’s national fundraising and communications. As a first-generation college student, College Possible’s mission strongly resonates with her. She is grateful to have the opportunity to help College Possible students across the country achieve their dream of graduating from college.
Beth brings over 18 years of experience in fundraising, communications and higher education to College Possible. Most recently, Beth served for five years as the Associate Vice President for Development at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she led a team of 19. Prior to her time at Macalester, she spent over ten years with Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where she led the advancement and communications team in planning and executing the public phase of a $150 million campaign. Beth has also participated in the Plus Delta Partners 10-month professional development program for major gifts officers.
Beth lives with her husband, Jim, and is the proud mother of two teenagers: Hannah and Charlie. In her free time, Beth enjoys reading and going on walks with Squiggy, her happy-go-lucky Boston terrier, and Shirley, her energetic boxer.
