Partner Organizations and Associations
The Get Ready program is an early intervention and college awareness program. The program helps prepare fourth through tenth grade students from low-income families and those from groups traditionally under-represented in college with college planning information, academic tutoring and information on career and higher education options.
iMentor is a national nonprofit program with the mission to improve the lives of underserved high school students through technology-based mentoring. In partnership with iMentor, College Possible launched its mentoring initative, Idealistic Mentors, which matches College Possible high school seniors with college-educated adult mentors to help them reach their academic, personal and career goals.
Learnmore is an initiative to promote discussion and identify new solutions to ensure that more Minnesota children succeed in school and pursue higher education — for their sakes and our state's future.
LearningWorks is a nonprofit organization with the mission to offer academic enrichment programs to motivated, high potential middle school students from Minneapolis Public Schools, setting them on the path to college by preparing them to enter rigorous high school programs; and to draw talented high school and college students into the education field by engaging them in the art of teaching.
The mission of Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) is to help students and families in the transition to post-secondary education and to provide development and support to its members.
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) was founded in 1987 to meet the increasing information needs of nonprofits and to convene nonprofits to address issues facing the sector.
The Minnesota Independent Schools Partnership is a partnership of six independent schools in the Twin Cities including the Blake School, Breck School, Minnehaha Academy, Mounds Park Academy, Shattuck-St. Mary School and St. Paul Academy.
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education is a cabinet-level state agency providing students with financial aid programs and information to help them gain access to post-secondary education. The agency serves as the state's clearinghouse for data, research and analysis on post-secondary enrollment, financial aid, finance and trends.
