College Possible Chicago’s Inaugural Class Graduates High School

This month, our inaugural class in Chicago completed the high school phase of the College Possible program and graduated from Marine Leadership Academy and Bowen, Kelly and Lake View high schools. Their College Possible coaches, both current and former, were at their commencement ceremonies, some flying to Chicago from as far as California and South Dakota to show their support, knowing that serving their students made a significant impact on their lives.

Many of our students, some of whom are the first in their families to receive a high school diploma, graduated with both athletic and academic honors. They have been admitted to many selective, four-year colleges, including the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the U.S. Naval Academy and DePauw University, among others. This fall, they will enter college with the support of a College Possible coach, who will ensure they have the support they need to earn their bachelor’s degree.

We are proud of our students’ achievements, and cannot wait to see what they will accomplish in college!
