The Star Tribune has recognized College Possible’s Minnesota and National offices as a Top Workplace!
Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. Over 2,000 Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations were invited to take part in the survey process and around 250 met the national standards required to be named a Top Workplace.
We are honored to receive this award, especially since the judges were our employees. Here are some of the things they have to stay about working and serving at College Possible.
“The people are what make College Possible such a great place to work. Everyone is dedicated to student success and there is a true sense of teamwork and comradery!”
—Kumar Balasubrahmanyan, Manager of Advancement, 2011-2013 AmeriCorps Member
“As an AmeriCorps member, I knew my work with students made a difference, and as an employee, I know our entire organization and staff is committed to creating more college graduates. I am genuinely excited to go to work every day and know that what I do is important, valued by others and contributes to our mission.”
—Amy Browender, External Relations Associate, 2013-15 AmeriCorps Member
“In my 10 years at College Possible, I’ve been in a number of different roles, each of which involved different responsibilities and taught me new skills. The constant throughout it all, though, was the tireless commitment my colleagues have to being the best program we can be and keeping our students at the center—no matter what.”
—Lara Dreier, Senior Manager of Federal Initiatives
