College Possible Milwaukee named a ‘Best Place to Work’

It’s official!

College Possible is one of Milwaukee’s “Best Places to Work.” Out of nearly 160 applicants in five different size groups, College Possible was named a winner in the “micro-small” category of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “Best Place to Work” competition.

Results were determined solely by employee satisfaction surveys, administered by the Business Journal.

When talking to current employees, it’s easy to see why College Possible stands out from the crowd.

“My experience has been great so far! [College Possible] has a good balance of work and play…it’s all about finding ways to make things interactive and energizing.”

—Jaime Gonzalez, 2010-16 College Possible student, current College Coach

“While everyone comes from different walks of life, it’s great to be part of an organization where people can acknowledge those differences, embrace them, and encourage one another to bring forth our individual strengths.”

—Somkhit Boonheuan, 2012-14 AmeriCorps Member, current College Program Coordinator

“Being able to be at the core of a solution of a solution for a city that has a lot of challenges is something that is definitely exciting. We’re always thinking about how to be better and how to grow – growing both the work of the organization and the people in it.”

—Kelly Schaer, Program Director
