College Possible Milwaukee makes positive impact on students and community

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently highlighted the positive impact College Possible Milwaukee is having on its students and its community. A study conducted by Harvard University researcher Chris Avery shows that College Possible’s approach to unlocking the potential of low-income students is effective and that students served are significantly more likely to enroll in a four-year college.

College Possible Milwaukee is currently serving nearly 600 juniors and seniors at 10 Milwaukee-area partner schools and over 800 college students nationwide. Malcolm Hicks, a current College Possible high school senior says, “If it wasn’t for College Possible, I wouldn’t have applied to as many colleges as I have and maybe wouldn’t be going to college at all.” Read the full story here.
