College Possible recognized at White House summit

The Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service featured College Possible’s invitation to the recent White House summit on expanding college opportunity. College Possible’s goals and results align closely with the initiatives of the president and first lady to increase college graduation rates for low-income students in the country.

The summit addressed the achievement gap in United States higher education, and College Possible was one of forty organizations recognized for their work so far. “We’ve devoted the last thirteen years to studying the problem of education inequality, and we’ve found strong, cost-effective solutions,” said Edie Turnbull, Executive Director of College Possible Milwaukee. Read the full story here.
