College Possible Chicago Helps Transform Local School on MLK Day

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, College Possible Chicago participated in a Day of Service and partnered with hundreds of volunteers to repaint the walls of Curie High School, located in Chicago’s Archer Heights neighborhood. Through teamwork, they added murals and pops of color to the building’s otherwise plain walls, transforming it into a colorful place to learn.

The event, organized by City Year, brought together volunteers from organizations including the Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Chicago Sky basketball team. Special guests included Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner and his wife, Diana Rauner, as well as Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth.
