College Possible makes college admission and success possible for students from low-income backgrounds through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support. Students are led by idealistic AmeriCorps members who serve as near-peer coaches, guiding high school juniors, seniors and college students. We also recruit Community Partnership Team Members who help plan different service events throughout the year. Recruitment is underway for recent college graduates to serve a 10-month AmeriCorps term with positions beginning in August 2019.
According to 2018 Volunteering in America report by the Corporation for National and Community Service, Nebraska ranks #6 among the best in the country for volunteering. Make a commitment to supporting the dream of a college degree for students from low-income backgrounds by serving in Omaha. The positive impact you will have on students’ lives is one that will stay with you forever.
