About

Only 43.5% of students who start high school in Oregon go on to enroll in college. We’re working to increase that number.

College Possible Portland is making college admission and success possible for more than 1,762 low-income Portland-area students. The organization expanded to Portland in 2012 and began serving students the following year. This school year, College Possible Portland is serving 473 high school students, more than 289 college students and 1,000 9th and 10th graders through college prep talks. Our high school students have an average GPA of 3.17 and 73% are students of color.

Through the generous support of local organizations, foundations and individuals, the program will continue to grow and help more low-income students achieve their dreams of a college degree.
