Maureen Lodoen, Development VISTA
Maureen grew up in the suburbs of the Twin Cities but has spent the last four years in Omaha, NE at Creighton University. Maureen graduated in May 2011 with a degree in Journalism-Advertising Track and an English minor. After spending a semester studying abroad in Ireland, she continues to dream about living there in a cottage on the sea someday. She loves reading, and The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky is her favorite book.
When she is not working, she can most likely be found drinking too much Starbuck’s coffee, singing, playing piano, eating Sebastian Joe’s raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, working out, enjoying a play or concert, attempting to cook delicious food, visiting an art museum or art show, discovering new coffee shops, waiting for Christmas to come, or going on an adventure to an exciting fair, festival, or market. In the far or not-so-far future, Maureen hopes to teach high school English, but for the time being she is ready to help College Possible start a new site in Omaha! Top

Kyle Svingen, Omaha Public Schools
Born and raised in Omaha, Kyle is excited to move back home after spending 4 wonderful years at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He majored in Physics & Religion, and enjoyed participating in the orchestra and a couple of choirs. While he enjoyed Hot Dish and Lutefisk up in Minnesota, he is very glad to return to the land of the Runza sandwich. Kyle likes to spend his time reading good books, biking, tossing a baseball, watching his beloved Nebraska Cornhusker football team, playing violin and viola, singing karaoke (and apologizing afterward). Most of all, he likes spending time with his friends. Kyle is really excited to learn and teach through College Possible this year! Top
