College Possible connects promising, low-income students to the best colleges for them; those that challenge them and help them achieve their dreams. This means we work with many colleges across the country. Some of our partner colleges have taken extra steps to commit to our mission, working closely with College Possible to recruit and retain students in need. Learn about our Connects Partnerships and Catalyze Partnerships.
Oregon State University
Our Explore partners generate early exposure to their campuses by hosting a visit for our students, which includes transportation, food and lodging costs. Campus visits allow students the chance to explore their college options and find the right college fit. Explore partners receive assistance from our Community Partners Team and receive the contact information for all students participating in the visit. This winter, Oregon State University hosted 41 students from College Possible Portland who thoroughly enjoyed their firsthand experience of life on a college campus. They even had a hashtag (#CollegePossibleOSU) to share their own experiences from their visit on social media.
Our Bridge partners have the opportunity to meet our students and coaches at exclusive events and work closely with College Possible staff to identify potential candidates for admission. Lakeland University has committed to increasing access and success for low-income students and receives support from College Possible Milwaukee staff to coordinate campus visits and track applications.
St. Catherine University
Our Collaborate partners work closely with College Possible staff to develop a pipeline for prospective students and engage current college students through graduation. A dedicated College Coach, supported in part by the partner college, works directly with students on campus. Over 140 College Possible students are currently enrolled at St. Catherine University.
